As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Referees play an important role in evaluating manuscripts submitted to the Journal of Art, Design, and Architecture (JADA+Arch) editors work closely with reviewers to strictly enforce the acceptance criteria and act quickly to accept or reject manuscripts. All materials associated with the review process are confidential, including manuscripts, Supplementary Material, author-provided material, referee reports, and other correspondence When you consult with colleagues or invite them to write a joint report, these materials must remain confidential We ask that you include the names and contact details of colleagues who helped write the report When reviewing a manuscript, please do not start a discussion with the author(s); instead, don't hesitate to get in touch with the editors with your question.
